There were lots of Cub Scouts building their Pinewood Derby cars with our help over the past several weeks! Bandsaws, drill presses, and power sanders, oh my! Add dremels, sandpaper, and hot glue guns and these kids were busy making amazing rolling creations. Good luck to all the kids (and their adults) at the races!

We had an amazingly creative group of middle schoolers at our most recent Girl Makers Club meeting! They worked very diligently making felt cuffs that lit up with conductive thread, battery packs, and sewable LED lights, as well as lots of felt decorations such as flowers, a NY Yankees logo, and butterflies. They also built tabletop pinball machines using pegboard, cardboard, and rubberbands, and created 2D kinetic works of art based on work by Israeli artist Yaacov Agam.
