Fun events and fun-raising campaigns throughout the year support our organization and programs.

Spring
Make It Up! Improv Show
We put the fun in fundraising at our annual Make It Up! Improv Show fundraiser. Each Spring, you can join us for a night of laughs, prizes and surprises, all to support Decatur’s inventive non-profit — and Atlanta’s only family-friendly makerspace (that’s us!) More info coming soon.

December
End-of-Year Annual Campaign
At the end of every calendar year, we raise funds to get more people of all ages creating and learning by building and making. Making fosters life-changing experiences where kids and adults find passions, learn hard skills, and develop and strengthen the soft skills of problem-solving and critical thinking. Please consider making a donation to make a difference!

Spring
“Make Dreams Come True” Youth Outreach Campaign
Through our youth Outreach, Decatur Makers meets hundreds of kids and teens each year who are curious about learning how to build computers, designing and making their idea, working with their hands in wood and metal and electronics. A next step is to get them into a class. Or, help them become a member of our community. This fundraiser helps support those underserved communities who need some extra help with scholarships, classes, materials, and programs.

September
West Ponce Music Stroll
The West Ponce Music Stroll, held on the last Saturday in September, is a community centered event with the goal of bringing people to the West Ponce area. This event features several musicians and bands playing music at venues along West Ponce De Leon. In the evening, there is a stage outside The Marlay to listen to more local music. We will also feature chalk artists and an artists market. Proceeds for the event support Decatur Makers.
