Open Build Nights
. . . are every Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm (except the first Wednesday of the month which is our Members Meeting). We invite the public to come for a tour, meet some of our members, bring a project to work on, join in on a community build, or just hang out and chat with other makers. It’s a great way to see what we’re all about!
Family Build Nights
. . .is the last Wednesday of the month from 5 PM – 6:30 PM. This is a FREE event geared towards our littlest makers, ages 6-10 years old, and their families. Young makers will be provided with all project materials and the support of our Makerspace Volunteers. In this 1.5 hours families will explore the Design Thinking Process through a hands-on, maker-led activity. Come explore, build and share the joy of creating!
FBN is held outside and weather permitting. This is a drop-in event. Come for the whole time or just a bit. Parents/Guardians must stay at Decatur Makers with their kiddos. It is FAMILY Build night after all.
