We’re not just about the making, we’re also about making a difference. Our outreach programs support both youth and teachers across Atlanta through innovative hands-on making experiences. By developing both the hard skills (how to use a soldering iron or create a digital design) as well as the soft skills (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, perseverance, risk-taking and adaptability), young makers build confidence and feel empowered to find their passions that can change their lives.

Over this 30-month program, we will become a regional hub supporting maker-led education with 5-10 sites (schools, non-profits, libraries, museums, etc) that we choose, particularly looking to support underserved communities and Title 1 schools as part of our site selection.
