Sandra Mazliah is a former employment labor and employment lawyer. As a partner in a small firm in DC, she worked on behalf of employees in discrimination and wrongful disciplinary actions. After retiring and moving to Atlanta with her family 11 years ago, she took her “craftiness” to a new level, working In a Fabric and Yarn store, and teaching knitting. This is also when she opened her Etsy Shop and cake decorating businesses, called Sweet Serendipity 37. (The 37 being her son, Theo’s hockey jersey number). Since joining the Maker Space, she has expanded her inventory to include laser cut knitting tools as well as tools made on the lathe. She is currently the Laser Area Steward.
