Kalia brings to the makers an impressive record of fundraising, volunteer management, and leadership based on her service as a district director for the BSA Atlanta Area Council, and her work with the Boys & Girls Club.
“I believe the executive director of Decatur Makers needs to understand how special the people are who make up this unique community and will need to be incredibly relationship-oriented,” said Morrison. “I believe my experience has helped me to embody the character and personality needed to be a part of this community and to play a major leadership/influencer role to continue to help the organization thrive.”
