Decatur Library Maker Workshops

In partnership with the City of Decatur Library and funded by the DeKalb Library Foundation, we hosted a Design Challenge where Families used a range of materials to compete in a simple machine design challenge. After learning a bit about simple machines and how they make our life easier, the family groups, using their imagination and ingenuity, worked together to build a machine that knocked down a wall of cups. So much creativity and problem solving!
