StartupBus visits Decatur Makers!

Come hear about a great new idea to launch a technology startup! We were approached by a group of entrepreneurs from the Ohio Makerbus who are competing in the annual competition run by the StartupBus. On their trek from Ohio toward the final competition in New Orleans, they were looking for a place to pitstop in Atlanta and work on their prototype. What better place than our makerspace?

On Wednesday morning August 2, from 9-11 AM, this group of entrepreneurs will be at Decatur Makers to engage with the larger Atlanta startup and maker communities for idea discussion and prototype creation.

StartupBus is a national organization that fosters innovation by sponsoring these annual bus trips across the country and around the world.  Imagine a group of talented and motivated entrepreneurs taking a focused road trip to conceive, build, and launch a startup in just 72 hours. Says StartupBus Founder, Elias Bizannes, “Entrepreneurship can’t be taught — but it can be learned.”

Please join us as we welcome these entrepreneurs that jumped on a bus to launch an idea!
