Pre and post-COVID-19, all members have 24/7 access to the space with the tools and equipment as well as the communal materials. They also receive a discount on our classes and can bring guests to the space. Supporting members also have a storage bin in the space. Cornerstone members help ensure the long-term survival of Decatur Makers by providing a donation in addition to their membership dues.
Until further notice, we are not open to the public, or accepting new members (any previous members who have been through our Decatur Makers 101 may rejoin. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.) We hope to open back up to new members as soon as possible, but only when we can do so safely.
The health and safety of our community is our top priority, and as the impact of COVID-19 continues to change our world, the Decatur Makers board and staff continue to assess what phase of opening makes sense for our organization. Keep an eye on our blog for most up-to-date info, and follow us on social media. For more details on protocols for our phased openings, please see this wiki article.
We will be sharing updates both here and through our newsletter mailing list (sign up here).
