2016 Year in Review

Without a doubt, we have had an amazing year.

We started with just under 100 members and ended with over 150.  And that doesn’t even count our 24 maker scholars and maker mentors funded from grants!  Our space went from a roughed out floor plan to a fully functional facility including an outdoor work area, our much anticipated large roll up door, and a wet lab on the way.  We hired our first staff member More and more classes are being offered and the space is buzzing with a diverse set of activities from a diverse group of makers.  Amazing doesn’t really even cover it….

bookfestbutton2We want to thank everyone that helped us get to this point: tireless members, generous sponsors, amazing partners, and the hundreds of folks who visited with us in person (at one or more of the dozens of events we participated in around town and around the country) and also online (hey, that’s you!).

chrisboypoemboxBelow is an incomplete list to document the highlights.   We have BIG plans for 2017 so stay tuned.

Your support as we go forward is most welcome!
